Most of my short-hair friends love to play with their hair — different styles, different colors, different statements.

My mother-in-law once told me (a longhair) that people who wear their hair long are just plain lazy, don't bother to keep up their appearance and have no sense of style. i don't agree with that assessment, either. My own hair is quite curly (and gets curlier the shorter it gets) so keeping it long does require less fuss, but I don't think that means I'm lazy about it.

As I said, two kinds of people.Susan Bearmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991968368214219371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3009912368962227337.post-78706156651353938702011-06-30T14:59:39.392-05:002011-06-30T14:59:39.392-05:00I'm a short-hair person, and while I agree wit...I'm a short-hair person, and while I agree with the "it's just hair" because it will grow back, I don't agree that short-hair is not a statement. It's very much a statement that, for me, says I like to have fun with my hair. I like to change it up. I like my hair routine to be simple and easy and yet still look like I care about my appearance. It's a different statement, but it has meaning none the less.Oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01828516083662339236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3009912368962227337.post-59953410196571268412008-06-19T09:29:00.000-05:002008-06-19T09:29:00.000-05:00I guess I'm a longhair, because I rarely have it s...I guess I'm a longhair, because I rarely have it short (I look like a boy), but I will cut it to chin length on the theory that it will grow, and sometimes you just need a change. Now, is one of those times - I'm dying for a cut and colour.Run ANChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06088821030860597465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3009912368962227337.post-80660098870989755002008-02-18T11:15:00.000-06:002008-02-18T11:15:00.000-06:00There's a movie about the designer Coco Chanel wit...There's a movie about the designer Coco Chanel with a great scene where she cuts her long beautiful hair in sorrow over a lost love.Cindy Feyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05299125143192251898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3009912368962227337.post-48036090449366442462008-02-17T20:09:00.000-06:002008-02-17T20:09:00.000-06:00I'm definitely a long-hair person - I agonized for...I'm definitely a long-hair person - I agonized for months before finally donating to Locks of Love last year! I am now patiently waiting for my hair to get back to "normal." =)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00373288343793641760noreply@blogger.com
