I know the feeling of wanting to faint but having your inner grit hold you upright. I had to stay in the room once while an incompetent nurse put an IV in my 4 month old. My husband had to leave, but I stayed so that I could pick her up the moment they were done. All these years later -- for you and I! -- those feelings are so present.<br /><br />Adulting is in moments, not a state of being.
